1. Who we are

Easy Fast Piano is an online piano course operated by Milo Andreo, based in Ontario, Canada. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, how it is used, and the rights you have under applicable data protection laws (PIPEDA in Canada, GDPR in the EU, LGPD in Brazil, and similar regulations elsewhere).

2. Data we collect

We collect the following categories of data:

  • Identification data: email address and first name (provided voluntarily via signup forms).
  • Browsing data: pages visited, time on site, device and browser type, IP address, referrer URL. Collected only after you accept cookies.
  • Behavioral data: mouse movements, clicks, scroll depth, and anonymized session recordings via Microsoft Clarity. Collected only after you accept cookies.
  • Performance data: Web Vitals (loading times, interaction delays) via Vercel Analytics.
  • Payment data: processed exclusively by Hotmart. We do not store or have direct access to credit card or banking information.

3. Why we collect

  • To deliver the courses you purchase.
  • To send the lessons, updates, and offers you signed up for.
  • To improve site performance and user experience.
  • To analyze how visitors interact with the page (anonymized).
  • To comply with legal and tax obligations.

5. Cookies & tracking

Analytics cookies (Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity) are blocked by default until you explicitly accept them via our cookie banner. You can decline and still use the site fully. Essential cookies (required for site function, such as remembering your consent choice) are always active.

Under PIPEDA (Canadian federal law), GDPR (European law), LGPD (Brazilian law), and other applicable data protection laws, you have the right to:

  • Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data.

7. Data retention

We retain your email and name for as long as you are subscribed to our list. Behavioral and analytics data is automatically anonymized after 14 months. Payment records are retained for the period required by Canadian tax and accounting laws (typically 6 years per CRA requirements).

8. Children

The Easy Fast Piano course is designed for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with data, contact us and we will delete it immediately.

9. Security

We use industry-standard security measures (HTTPS encryption, secure cookies, isolated environments) to protect your data. However, no internet transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but commit to notifying you within 72 hours of any data breach affecting you (LGPD/GDPR requirement).

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The most recent version will always be available on this page, with the “Last updated” date reflecting the change. Material changes will be communicated via email to subscribers.

11. Governing Law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and Canada’s federal privacy legislation (PIPEDA — Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act). Any disputes arising from data processing shall be resolved in the competent courts of Ontario, Canada.
